Why am I doing this? We will see....

These shoes were made for walkin' and that is exactly what I have been doing for the past three summers.  On the Paul Bunyan Trail on the east side of Lake Bemidji.  This walking season has been very special for some reason.  This Fall in particular.  The following are just a few pictures that I have taken on the trail.  OK Rachelle?????
My BIG feet.  These are the tennis shoes that got me through Grandma's half marathon summer of '09
What can I say?
I have fallen in love with birch trees. These are NOT the last you will see of this magnificent tree.
 On the trail bridge
One of my favorite pictures on the trail this fall.  I went for a walk today, and of course, all the leaves are gone (:

OK.  This is it for tonight.  I have NO IDEA what I'm doing.  So I will post this and see what it looks like.  Hang in there with me.  Let's see where this goes.

P.S. Some one tell me why the colors come across so blah on this post.

First of all... I'm SOOO HAPPY you started a blog. Secondly, the 2nd and 3rd photos down made me jump off my chair. That 3rd photo, the yellow trees.... whoa. Frame worthy. Gorgeous. You have wowed me. Welcome to the wild world of blogging, Barbara. We've been waiting for you. :o)

Welcome aboard! I really like your pictures. It will be fun to see your trail throughout the seasonal changes. I get my best inspirations for poems while walking. Nice work here.
