I'm going back a few months. I planted sun flower seeds this year, for the very first time. I have always wanted sunflowers but, in my almost 59 years, have never done anything about it, until now.
They needed a lot of tender loving care, like water every day
All the rain we had this year really helped my effort. They are beautiful even when they are unfolding
AND success! I will plant sunflowers every year from now on. They are cheerful, bright and will always make you smile:)

It never stops amazing me how a tiny seed can grow into a huge flower in the course of a couple of months. Yours were beautiful this year!!
