What is YOUR season?

  What season leaves you breathless?
To me it has become the season of winter.  I am winter.
All my senses come alive
The cold, the bundling up, the extra energy it takes to get around, I love it all.
 What season takes you away.
My SOUL fills with contentment when I take my first step onto the trail.  I wonder what gift the trail will give me today
Often I feel like I'm in another place, I must be in heaven for how can I be experiencing such an overwhelming feeling of astonishment
I am part of a miracle

I think my season is spring. I get sooo excited to see the perennials popping through the earth and can hardly wait for the greenhouses to open. Yep, spring tickles my fancy. :o)

Wow, you almost sold me. Winter is beautiful and quiet which is good for the soul. The photos are wonderful and the words are as crisp as the air. I like this post a lot. But winter is cold to me. Give me that good old Summertime when you can dress in a flash.

Oh my - Barb - I think you've almost convinced me to go outside! I love the LOOK of winter, indeed my favorite season for that reason, but have never been very brave about activity out in it. You might have convinced me to try, for how could I be missing all this earthly GLORY? Each picture was my favorite until I saw the next...you are GIFTED, my friend, with the lens and your senses.

Your pictures almost got me Barb. Winter memories for me are mostly about pain, difficulty, discomfort and , worry and missed opportunities. But your pictures do evoke a part of my past which says "Right on girl." We surely do need a winter to rest and regroup and it does have its own beauty and a sense of timelessness. You have captured that and thank you for sharing it.

Monday I am leaving and will return on April 18th. I miss my house, my friends and many other things. But I also love my AZ condo and all of my many activities. I feel fortunate to have the choice. Do take care of yourself Barb, my other young friend who had cancer is NOT doing well at all. See you in the spring. Lorraine C.
